RB will elaborate the concept of moving energy from thoughts to object in the next entry.

slow38b The book “Built to Last” is often a must read for business executives and global leaders who want to build long and lasting companies.

The book advocates a mantra that characterized long life companies that are likely to hire inside employees to high positions as opposed to other organizations that “hire from the outside.” This allowed for consistent excellence in leadership from within the ranks, from employees who have adhered to the company’s core ideology. In the overall picture, this is a way for companies to preserve the core while stimulating progress. The book’s research has shown that comparison companies that hire their CEOs from a pool of outside applications have lesser chances of become long life companies. RB finds this data to be extremely useful as it has again prove that for an idea to last, one needs to slow down. The CEOs who have risen from within would have enough time to observe and learn from past mistakes to make amends. And like everything else we have talked about, even a company would have a flow that needs to be understood. That flow is make up of a ‘tempo’ that has its own rhythm. You may miss a beat if you chose not to follow that tempo, but if you do, the music will bring sound results to your company!
